I am fasting in the morning, herbal tea & water. I am going into the woods to sit with the critters & trees. I'm a very earthy person so I'm doing a grounding between the earth's core & moon & sun in the hour leading up to the eclipse. I want to be standing beating my staff into the ground while the eclipse happens to draw all that energy together. Afterwards, I've prepared a small feast & will make herbal sun tea during the eclipse bringing together the four elements.
Also-interpretive dance!
@KentuckyConjurer Oh, that sounds fun, especially the dancing! I'm not doing anything particularly special for the eclipse, just my normal New Moon altar cleanup and meditations, offerings to Hekate for Deipnon.
It's going to be cloudy here and I don't work well with solar/lunar stuff if I can't see it, but I'll probably go outside at least once during to say a prayer. Most likely the Orphic Hymn to the Sun, which I use on the summer solstices as well.
