Mom & I are going to local temple today. We have to help chaperone two Aunties who are still too frail to go on outings alone. We are taking them to Chinatown to get some supplies from Chinese herbs & medicine shop, after temple visit.
Mom changed her mind & so we ended up at #CountryBeeHoneyFarm near #BrentwoodBay instead. Enjoyed their petting farm. It's mating season so 4 peacocks were out, strutting their stuff(pics & vids to follow). I met a friendly farm #cat & hung out with it for awhile. You can donate to the animals in the petting farm area, by buying small feed bags - they're $1.50/each.
It's mating season.
4 peacocks were out at the Country Bee honey farm, on West Saanich, in #VictoriaBC today. All were strutting around, showing off their full plumage, making their mating calls & doing lots of fluffybutts rumpshaking.
My family doesn't have much extra money to pay for fun, family friendly things to do together. I've become very good at finding free or close to free fun activities for us & other families to enjoy.
