@bagder I sometimes wander how these things happen. Did they need to setup a CentOS machine, realized v7 is the only supported version (https://endoflife.date/centos) and missed everything else that went on in the world in the last 4+ years?

@paolobarbolini because it seems to happen so often I think it is rather just users stubbornly sticking to something "that works", being afraid of rocking the boat. Instead they paint themselves into corners like this.
