@christianselig I gotta go with plat, but only because it’s the only Pokémon game I’ve ever played and, even though the series didn’t stick for me, it was such a special time to finally have a Pokémon game I could connect with. Pure nostalgia.

@christianselig Black is more known for its story, Platinum is more known for, uh, using a lot of old gen pokémon and being weirdly slow

that said, black/white is the only gen of pokémon i haven’t actually played through, so i dunno how qualified i am to answer this question lol

@christianselig the original Gold/Silver have it in Mt Silver, at the very end of the postgame, which i feel is a cool locale

i need to double/check but IIRC it also shows in Sun/Moon in an abandoned shop with a bunch of other ghost pokémon? i don’t remember

but tbh misdreavus is kinda mediocre in the games lol

@christianselig by a similar token, Scarlet has a weird mutated misdreavus (that has consistently dominated the competitive scene) at the bottom of a massive crater that you explore in the final story segment, which is a similarly grand location to find a pokémon

@christianselig black 2 is widely considered one of the best Pokémon games of all time. That being said, it’s a direct sequel to black.

I’d do black first honestly. Then platinum.
