@kaiserkiwi@rileytestut@delta Imagine you spend years building an alternative App Store to publish an app Apple rejected. Then a few weeks before its launch to a bigger audience, Apple suddenly allows it in an attempt to destroy the unique selling point of your store.
Be mad at Apple, not the developer who has find a way to deal with their BS 😕
@rileytestut@delta Out of curiosity, were any technical changes required to Delta to comply, or is this basically the same version that’s been in Alt Store?
@dmoren@delta we added explicit “Contact Us” and “Privacy Policy” options in Settings (+ hid “Join our Patreon” link) just to be safe with App Review, but besides that it’s identical to the AltStore version!
The Altstore version (not the PAL one) supports genesis games and is adapted to the iPad screen. The App Store version doesn’t seem to. Unless I’m making a mistake.
@rileytestut I have a couple of suggestions/feature requests I would like to make for Delta. Is there an appropriate way to send them to you that wouldn’t feel spammy?
@rileytestut@delta why forcing EU people into your Alt Store? I don't mind the cost, but in this way EU people can't have it on the iPad. Why not using the App Store since emulators are now allowed? EU fought for more users freedom, not for more restrictions. Regards
@rileytestut@delta I could not find a IAP to tip you any money, but I subscribed to altstore even tough I can't use it 😅 Guess patreon would be better in retrospect
