I started Dark Souls 3, but it didn't feel fun to me for some reason. I switched to Yakuza: Like a Dragon instead, a game I've played earlier but abandoned half way through. I don't know why I did that. The game really seems like a blast this time around too. Also the cinematic bits at the beginning are loooonng.
@Sobtanian@riikka I was thinking about how would I rank the three DS games and, honestly, I'm not too sure. DS1 is awesome, but the second half is rough. DS2 is very cool too, but the bosses are a letdown. And DS3 doesn't feel as unique as the other two, for some reason I can't put my finger on.
I don't usually care about the bosses but I love them all in Sekiro. They're all so amazing. Also I wish I could have faced Malenia Sekiro style. It would have been epic!

I love exploration (I'm a huge metroidvania fan, after all!) but what really makes me tick is that rush of adrenaline of having a boss before me and being able to kick its ass 😅
I would also have loved fighting Malenia in Sekiro fashion!
(Actually, in terms of OMG this can’t be real can it what a game) Demon’s is the GOAT, but I played the original imported from Hong Kong in 2009 so it really was a jaw dropper.
@Sobtanian@hk@mforester@COMPU73E@riikka haha, I debated if it was plural, possessive, or neither before posting that. It was a very revolutionary game no matter what you call it, though admittedly I had to cheese some parts of it.
From sniping the Maneaters through the fog door in Demon's Souls on PS3, all the way to using Rotten Breath then running away from General Radahn in Elden Ring, it's a Souls tradition. A win is a win, doesn't matter how you do it

I used regular arrows and about 30 minutes of my life. You can only hit it at a specific point in it's flight arc. 😩
