Warning incoming rant!

Reading through a thread about dissatisfaction about today's world I came across a reply where someone said something about it's ok because the real world is when they will be in heaven.

My problem with that way of thinking is that it removes all the responsibility to make any attempt to help improve the world.
I wonder if those people are the ones who literally walk past homeless people and think, it's ok. They will be in a better place soon...heaven awaits.

@Snowshadow
I saw that too. 😔
Some Christians, notably evangelicals, use it as an excuse to abuse the earth and deplete resources. In the extreme it makes even criminal acts against humanity acceptable, because true believers will be forgiven.
Not religious, but my Sunday school taught that we should love one another. Also that we are stewards of the earth and must care for it.
How selfish that some are concerned only about their imagined life in heaven, while people suffer and Earth burns.
