@purplepadma There's a species of frog in Australia called the Banjo Frog - also known as the Pobblebonk Frog - and their call sounds a bit like twanging a thick rubber band.
@purplepadma my dog is one of these lurchers. Apparently they're known for having thin, awkward skin. Anyway, spring comes round and her allergies start up so she has to have her chin massaged with special foam.
(Secret downside: in the summer, she can actually generate too much heat to be really comfortable to have on your lap. Sudden Leg Sweat Syndrome is now a thing in my life 🤫)
@purplepadma I took my cat to the vet today, she's fine, just has a stomach bug. Just like every time I take her, the vet and all the techs raved to me about "she's such a sweetheart!" Meaning she doesn't try to claw their eyes out when she's getting shots, I suppose.
Also, I went through the drive-through with a cat sitting on my passenger seat and the cashier laughed. :)
@purplepadma Midnatt (midnight in Swedish). She's an adorable (and spoiled) void =)
Couple of pictures: her begging; in my spouse's arms; on the bookcase in my niece's room this Christmas; in my spouse's arms again
@purplepadma Does Miss Cinnamon also have that ... blunt face with round eyes that makes them look super extra adorable? (all cats, voids or not, no matter their face/eye shape are adorable ... but part of the reason Midnatt is spoiled is: Who can say no to that face, right?)
