Hubby knows I love tulips. I showed him the ads I keep getting on Instagram for Fresh Cut Paper. So for Mother's Day, he got me paper tulips! I love them! They are really nice, thick cardstock, vibrant colors, and pop out to 3D. The picture light sucks, I'm bad at photography. It really is vibrant IRL.

Can the solar storm affect sleep? I slept from 7-11 pm, then up until 3:30 am. Woke again at 6 am and I fear sleep won't come again.

Are Chipotle workers unionized? Or is Chipotle a worker-owned co-op? I'd be elated to find out either of those things are true, and would probably make my first purchase at Chipotle if they were, but, until then, I think maybe the tv ads where Chipotle workers are super-invested in their culinary labor are paramount bullshit and, thus, not a good selling point.

@purplepadma Don't take it as an all out rejection. I hire for RA positions and this year we had 10 qualified applicants for 1 part-time position. We only interviewed 3 who showed exceptional experience with no PhD experience. We actually usually pass on PhD students because we fear they'll return to their studies or be bored with an RA position.

@mentallyalex we usually go out to eat outside if the weather is good or get takeout if not. I try to take the day off work so I can sleep in. Usually watch TV all day and snuggle the cats and dogs. Just basically take it slow.

So, this was released today. My third stamp with Canada Post. Qarlinngua (The pants). And technically my second stamp with a family member in it, as the tiny figure in it is my son Travis. Now for one with Hilary in it.

I’ve very proud of all of these, beyond the cache. They are about my home, and family. And also my family has a long history with the Post Office, 101 years. My grandfather, father, and brother were all postmasters in Roblin.

I will be starting to create home #exercise vids for fellow #PhysicallyDisabledFolks, starting this month. Exercises will be as #inclusive & #accessible as possible.

Several of them will be done in a chair. Some standing & others are laying down. I don't see many exercise vids made by & for #disabled folks available online. I got frustrated, trying to find exercise vids, made by fellow disabled folks.

So, I'm going to stop complaining about lack of them. I'll start to create them, myself.

@msquebanh absolutely! As much as I like my physical therapist, she just hasn't had ankle injuries, just learning about and working with them. I think until someone has experienced any physical issue, they can't understand the pain and frustration that comes from exercising and stretching.

Part of our members & us, with our (holding new paddle). We train every Saturday morning, from .

Today, we worked on more race stops, transitions & on improving team timing/synchronization.

I led a good warm-up before we started & was put into front near end of practice. Our coach is also training me on doing drumming/calling out paddle beats so I can go on multiple boats for races. Our first race is May 26th!

Me with 4 other female team mates & our coach (she is on far right, holding black paddle) on upper wharf at Fairway Gorge Paddling Club. The Gorge Waterway is behind us.

Anyone else having issues with @Tusky crashing since the latest update? It updated for me last night, and since then, I can't open it. I'm currently logging in on Firefox app, which is ok, but annoying.

ETA: uninstalled and reinstalled. Working fine now.

Tomorrow, my Indigenous friend is taking me to a for a full moon sweat. My friend is going to location in morning to start setting things up. Once things are all setup, I'll be transported there for several hours of sweat lodge native healing ceremonies.
