got an email today addressed to two Drs and then to "Hannah." The other Drs are my PI (senior prof) and a research prof. Is this a seniority thing or did I just get .... not-doctored

wanted to clarify that yes of course the other two Drs are men

@aheadofthenerve Rude af.

Either go "all Dr" or "none Dr", but to go "only some Dr" is definitely massively insulting.

Even more insulting if the context is so formal that using titles is expected.

@justafrog I responded with this PS:

PS: Re the salutation, I am completely fine going by Hannah but I noticed you addressed Craig and John using Dr Weiss and Dr Disterhoft, respectively, and I wanted to be clear I am also a Dr :)

and in the next email I got doctor-ed ;)
