thebaywindowgirl, Apologies for the running commentary on tedious mansplainer last night, it was a long train journey. I was actually in London to see a John Singer Sargent exhibition at Tate Britain, and it was spectacularly lovely, especially where they also had the dresses in the portraits on display beside the paintings.
Colour photograph of a portrait of Ellen Terry as Lady Macbeth by Sargent. She is dresses in a long blue green dress, and hold a crown above her head.
Colour photograph of the dress from the portrait in the previous portrait. It is green, with huge bell sleeves, and a red velvet cloak worn over the top.
