@jeffjarvis I still think there’s an element in the administration’s calculations where people were just exhausted from the prior administration where Trump had to be front and center always, and the press got used to that and can’t cope with that not being the case now.

Maybe, just maybe, it’s because those reporters are falling down on the job.
Taking trump at face value, while holding Biden at higher standards.
Focusing all their attention on the university protests while atrocities in Gaza go unreported on.
Maybe the venerable news outlets are no longer venerable or credible. Or at least seen that way by the larger public.
The reporters have to rebuild the trust and credibility they have lost.
They are casting stones.
