I'm not disagreeing, or even suggesting what we need to do at this point, but currently, we're paying around $104,000 per student to get them in the K door and out the 12 door, and more than half of them can't adequately read

The entire structure needs to be reworked. I do know vouchers isn't a solution, esp the program like Ohio has, i.e. unchartered religious schools

It's not the teacher's fault. It's in the system design. I'm for K-12, btw
