@brucy@chris The price was $15 and it was 1996 and acoustic looping was sort of new, at least to me. I paid it happily, but it was 2 sets and his soundboard guy sometimes sang backup vocals from the board, if I recall correctly.
@chris@Rosey@brucy he's a nice guy, or was. I ran his website from 96 until Mad House took it over around 99 (which was the right move). I haven't really listened him in recent decades but those were fun times. We had some great private party gigs and such
@chris@Rosey@brucy I just knew him as "that guy you kinda remember from 90s dead show lots who plays a kind of Kottke/Hedges style" and thought it was fun he was making a living at it
@mrcompletely@chris@Rosey@brucy he lives in my town (I live in his?) and we’ve crossed paths. Nit just at shows (tho also at shows) as our sins went the the same school for a bit. Nice guy, talented player, and an underrated songwriter.
