Continuing some of our e-bike discussions, @ClimateJenny asks:

Q2. How can a person with extremely minimal bike mechanic skills (i.e can fix a flat) level up for an e-bike? Are there good videos, books? Do bike shops still do classes?

(Generally, what basic maintenance and repair skills would be helpful for someone who owns and rides an e-bike? Is it much different than the skills required for a pedal/acoustic/push/bike bike?)

@ascentale @ClimateJenny A2: I have limited experience but so far it's basically all the same on my Bulls bike. Spokes, chain, cassette, cables, pedals, pedal arms, handlebars, seat - all the same. The motor is a different question but I've taken it in for that kind of maintenance.

I suppose I should note: I have a Class 1, which is selectable (off to very high) assist only. A Class 2 or 3, which can be self-propelled - I don't know about those.
