OK, while stipulating I am the LAST person any rational person should date, we can all agree anyone who DOESN'T tick any political leaning on their dating profile, where there is definitely a political-leaning box to tick, in the year 2024 is pretty likely fascist or so fascist-adjacent as to be also-fascist, right?
I fully exHAUSTively get that the attenuated political spectrums offered in these multiple-choice situations are in no way definitive, like I would never ever describe myself as liberal, PER SE, because I'm far-and-away more left than that, but at fucking least the attenuated menu gives me an idea of whether I'd be going out with a full-on fucking neo-Nazi or not.
I suppose - waiving for the moment the fact that I should not date anyone - were we to accept the kismet of the previous moderately viral thread, I should probably hang out in a fawning but respectful way with Kate Lister, and, impossible as that might be, I'm good with it.
@GrimmReality I hate to tell you, but the majority of people just do not follow politics. Even this year. They legitimately don't even know their political leaning because they use the Internet for celebrity gossip. They think MSNBC viewers are nerds.
