I need a renaissance costume and I'm struggling to find a place that'll sell me a complete set online – I won't do amazon or ali and I figure there has to be some craftsmen / clothier / attiellier who specializes in this I can support?
@ramiro do you have a local Renaissance fair? I bet if you find their website, they'd have a list of vendors that specialize in the type of clothes you are looking for.
@JillsJoy We do! And I did browse through it, I saw a few items that looked promising but half the resources don't actually have sites ( which tracks )
@vmbrasseur that's a good idea, there has to be some hand-me-downs around these here parts, but I think my first choice would still be to buy something from a crafter
@vmbrasseur that's my hope – though I did find a list on the oregon renfaire site, it is programmed in the least accessible way possible ( the vendor “links" aren't links at all ), and require multiple clicks to make work
