As much as the ad bothered me, it's just a dumb ad that will be here for a while and then gone and Apple will either hear the criticisms or won't and it'll either matter or won't.
It bothers me a lot more that there are so many people eager to jump to the defense of AN ADVERTISEMENT for a trillion dollar company.
