Update: I am at the aforementioned "Minimal House" show. It's a bar in a basement with a DJ and like four customers. Maybe they overestimated how many people were hype about going out to drink on a Thursday night out by the Wal Mart

@mcc one of the more compelling responses to my “what are we currently in a golden age of” question was “nonalcoholic cocktails.” i’m glad they’re getting a moment! mixing interesting flavors together in a drink is a fun art that need not depend on a substance many people avoid
@mhoye@chrisamaphone yeah uhhh when I am drinking alcohol I just really hate the taste of beer, which is too bad, because I've noticed that's a cottage industry now too
@mcc i drink shitty tea in bars, which is triple insulting because people expect me to have no tolerance for shitty tea. (Which is untrue, my cultural heritage comes with the shittiest tea possible within the Asian continent)
