Ein sehenswerter Vortrag auf dem 37C3 zur derzeit an vielen Orten der Welt vorangebrachten "digitalen Identität" und was diese übergriffige Kontrolltechnik durch Staaten, (Digital)Konzerne und den damit verschmolzenen Institutionen wie der UN und EU zukünftig und derzeit für uns alle bedeuten könnte. Aber auch, wie sich Menschen zB in Indien dagegen zu wehren versuchen.

These identification systems are a frontal attack on anonymity in the online world, might lead to completely new forms of tracking and discrimination and they are a gift to #Google and other companies which are monitoring the behaviour of people on a large scale. In this talk we focus on how the recent EU reform played out, how the UN is becoming a central player in promoting their hasty adoption and which strategies civil society and hackers can deploy to fight back."
