My scheme highlights comments, like, a lot. Prominent background color, high contrast text. Comments are more important than code, since they're optional and added only to enlighten the reader.

@TodePond That was a fun little poem. I've used several of those types, but nothing super fancy. Another category that sometimes makes up an embarrassingly large portion of a script is the rough draft trash code waiting to be cleared out once I'm sure I won't have to revert to it.

  • a hint of color to give it some warmth
  • dim to fade into the background, but retaining enough contrast to still be easily readable.
