@stux @arthunter How do you stop them from reading public posts? They don’t need to post anything. I don’t even think they need to be logged in for most posts.

@Extra_Special_Carbon @arthunter We'll keep an eye out for they index robot 😉 Like with open AI, one can deny access to a certain part of the platform or everything to prevent it learning from it

Mastodon for example has a block against the crawler from openAI since a little while

Also, since we use AP we pracically broadcast all our post into the web so we shouldn't be surprised if there are scapers out there. That can be easily be fixed by not posting public :blobcatgiggle:

Companys like meta and openAI should be respecting the rules otherwise they'll get sued at some point by someone I guess

But yeah, we do not post to train ai 💪
