I find it interesting that they used Forever War as one of them instead of Forever Peace. I personally felt that Forever Peace was more impactful in terms of message, and had more interesting explorations of sci fi concepts like the manufacturing credits, and cerebral connection tech.
Granted, they’re both phenomenal books. Just an interesting choice.
Seems like a pretty arbitrary selection. But Cordwainer Smith is definitely worth rediscovering. The book they mentioned is just a collection of short stories, if I remember correctly. I’d go for “Norstrillia” his best known novel.
I would have liked to seen some Larry Niven and Jerry Pournelle books listed there, but a good list overall, with a couple that I actually haven’t read, but look forward to doing so.
