Anthropic, a startup born out of OpenAI defectors, claims its new chatbot, Claude 3, outperforms OpenAI, ChatGPT and Google’s Gemini. Opus, the most capable of Claude 3’s three tiers, “shows us the outer limits of what’s possible with generative AI,” Anthropic wrote in a blog post Monday.
