DustyTchotchkis, Interesting. I hadn't considered that the solar farm drastically reduces evaporation of the reservoir. I wonder what they will do when it snows.

TLDR; you can set up a solar panel so snow melts off quicker and slides off more easily, reducing the winter downtime.
