indeed. we need a good instance for journalists. maybe have a policy of inviting every and only journalist for a paper or notable news website. that way the domain name means something, and the tech illiterate people know where to go and can get help from others on the same instance.

truly liberal readers, thinkers, scholars and authors have all but idled their #Xitter accounts, if they still have them, so journos, aggregators, prognosticators and commentators have less to get and give -- and volume matters for business. #brandnameX is tainted.
