🇬🇧 #Twitter is a dump, and #Mastodon suits me thematically and it's cool, I feel comfortable here. However, I still need an account on TT to follow accounts like #speedway clubs and riders, #F1 drivers and teams, etc. It is TT where they are all.

@Webwasp I know, but it’s a bit of cheating yourself. It does not change the fact that all these people and these institutions are still on TT, and here only some bot flips their content to have everything in one place. I could make a separate list out of it and call it “from Twitter,” but how is it different from having a second app? Ads might have been the case, but I use the #SpringApp, which has no ads 😉
@to3k agree. I hope that a lot more people and institutions move away from Twitter. I have stopped using Twitter a year ago and you should consider to do so too 😀. I am in doubt on howto easily find bots, but here is a few for you to use
@Webwasp slightly over a year ago, I stopped using Twitter as well, or at least I don’t use it at the same level as before, and moved my activity to Mastodon. However, I am still a little bit there, because I want to have contact mainly with the world of speedway and formula 1.
@to3k I get it. I did the same initially but came to the conclution that if we all do this then Twitter/X will continue be the dominant social platform. Now I live by the saying "if Tarzan cannot come to the jungle then the jungle must come to Tarzan" 😉. My new jungle is Mastodon and I use robots to get news from the old jungle until all its sane habitants have moved to other places or its owner has fully torched the place.
@to3k YESSS!!! -You will not regret it. I kept my Twitter account, just in case for about half a year,but did not use it and then deleted it. I wish you a nice day!!
@Webwasp Just one last question! Do you recommend any other bots/bridges besides sportsbots.xyz? I wouldn't want to become dependent on one and try to maintain some redundancy 😉
