Hmm, it appears the #NWS#bots I have here that clone #Twitter are finally dead, with the switch for the birdsite to require login to view tweets. There is an extensive list of alternative weather bots that @lckrohjr and myself have running (the IEMBOT). I am going to swap the bots to pull weather stories/etc., but will be some time. BIGGER ISSUE: NWS TORNADO BOT WILL NOT RUN.
@lckrohjr@ingalls There's a bunch of NWS clone accounts which are still posting, because I have put them in "degraded" mode and they are ONLY posting Graphicast/WX story graphics directly from weather.gov -- I have software detecting when those graphics images are posted. (For many NWS offices, that is the same stuff that shows up on the old Birdsite). Not all the accounts exist, and not every office uses the same software.
@ai6yr@lckrohjr any thoughts about @iembot_nhc_atlantic ? I’m very klutzy so it may be me, but not seeing this one working either. Let me know if it’s just me😬
@ai6yr This is going to have a big impact on my daily reading of “The Warzone” because (as you know) they use embedded tweets quite a bit in their content.
