In The Amazing Spider-Man #125 (Oct. 1973), Marvel Comics editor Roy Thomas wrote in the letters column that “it saddens us to have to say that the whiplash effect she underwent when Spidey’s webbing stopped her so suddenly was, in fact, what killed her. In short, it was impossible for Peter to save her. He couldn’t have swung down in time; the action he did take resulted in her death; if he had done nothing, she still would certainly have perished. There was no way out.” Source
The comic (#121) is ambiguous though. There is really no way for the reader to know whether she was dead before her neck was snapped, Green Goblin certainly seems to think so (but he is hardly a reliable source). But snapping her neck certainly would have killed her anyway.

Die Sammlung wurde von einem deutschen Verlag verbreitet, die Bilder sind aber meistens US-Amerikanisch basiert (z. B. Bilder von Erde sehen immer so 🌎 aus). Ich habe nur dreideutschsprächigeBilder da gefunden! Denn sie komprimiert nur etwa 5-10 MB (abhängig von Methode) enthält, wurden auf dem CD-Version ein paar Stücke Shareware für Bildbearbeitung und Spiele mit reingeworfen, zusammen ist das aber nur etwa 33 MB, oder 5% Kapazität des CD-ROMs. Trotzdem haben sie mindestens 3 solche Volumen separat verkäuft! Und für 30 DM auch kleine Bücher mit Bildindex (denn sie von Disketten langsam laden) und Einleitung zum englischsprächigen Software. Die erste habe ich, die originale Datein aber nicht. Die Satire gegen IBM ist überall, meistens aber um 052-065, was ironisch ist, denn das Buch sich „5000 Cliparts für PC und Amiga“ nennt.

#125 was such a grind, such a dog's breakfast I'd be doing phenomenal to get a couple of images a 12 hour day. #124 was a slog, too but #126 even with the formatting changes is a total doddle in comparison.
I might actually have a draft this week. And be done. I'll have saved all of it and given it to everyone.
The notes need revision, oops, sorry, but I won't be able to fix them until later tonight.
The work itself, exhibit #125 of 126 of my great big graphics project, keyword Swan Song, came out better than I could ever have hoped 3 weeks ago when I started it. It looks fucking amazing. I done good, folks. I done good.
I set out to create the definitive #125 and by gum, I did it too.
You can find it in the usual spot. Hoo did it clean up nice. :D

Tomorrow I'll start exhibit #126 of 126. It'll be 48 images but it'll be a bit of a challenge to Mysteron so maybe a week or two to do.
But it does let me do an image count on all the primary exhibits in my great big graphics project.
Right now, with exhibit #125 of 126 in the can, I've created 11,952 images of the primary exhibits. So all told the total for these for the entire project will be 12,000 images even.
Have completed the epic exhibit #125 of 126 of my multi-year great big graphics project, been on this since xmas day.
This was not easy at all; as advertised at the outset this one would take every skill I had developed in order to create given the damaged condition of the sole surviving original condition dataset.
I think I did the work proud.
This exhibit includes material not preserved with the reference copies of this dataset, which I've made as a separate exhibit.

Slow slow going but the results look really good. When this one's done I think I'll be proud of this work. It isn't perfection, I'm too stunned to be able to match up everything making up the 12,000+ original images comprising this collection, but I've been grinding away at this since xmas day and I'm now on the last section of this dataset.
Well, it took me most of yesterday to implement, but I Mysteroned the unique centerpiece from the penultimate exhibit #125 of 126 of my great big graphics project, and finallyfinally am working on the last half of this dataset.
My solution isn't perfect but it works as well as anything else I could think of.
There are 35 official copies of this dataset in existence and all of them have 10 images less than my sole known intact original source.
I think I've mostly figured out how to present the unique centrepiece from exhibit #125 of 126 of my great big graphics project.
It's a compromise, as there just aren't any non-distorting ways to do this, and it will require three separate exhibits for the complete exhibit #125 rather than one but at least for the first time ever there will be a complete archive of this dataset which currently exists no place.
I am living in interesting times. As in the curse.
I wake up on a Saturday morning, I literally have zero idea what happens today to me.
Right now there is a fair possibility of negative life changing email in my inbox. I'll go out on errands and I'll have zero idea what I'll be walking into but I'll need to be on and positive no matter what I'm faced with, sideways, upside-down, doesn't matter.
Money's tight. God, I am so sick of the entire concept of money.
And the thing that's most bothering me is I still have no bloody idea how I'm going to handle the unique centrepiece of exhibit #125 of 126 of my great big graphics project.
There is zero way to capture it in situ. I have to permanently alter the original dataset. I'll try to be as careful as possible and restore it but even then, I have no idea how I'm going to capture it.
Yeah, I must be an artist. Dozen swords over my head waiting to drop and it's the art that's really bugging me.

I am presented with a quandary how to Mysteron the centrepiece of this dataset; there is no good way I have yet thought of. It's kind of like finding a non-distorting Mercator projection of Earth, any solution I pick is not going to accurately depict the literally unique original not in any archive on the planet
Nine images in the can on exhibit #125 of 126, the penultimate exhibit of my infamous five year great big graphics project.
It's going as slowly as an end of the month bank queue late on a Friday afternoon when you have a time sensitive errand to run, but I have to say, if you could see what I'm creating from what I'm working with and how amazeballs it is in comparison, you'd be impressed.
One image at a time. Each one with its own issues, its own dictates. Reckon there'll be close to a 100.
Staying alive. Gauntlet ramped up to 11. I saved someone's life. 911 was pretty fast getting there. Got the first two images of exhibit #125 of 126 of my great big graphics project in the can but been so burnt out by real life it feels like wading through a mudslide.
Keeping the faith, even though I am unsure what it even is or ever was. It's being kept though. These days it's pretty much in the form of strings of colored lights and things that need to be done.

This, the penultimate exhibit of this most exclusive collection, is going to be a large exhibit with a lot of exclusive content that exists no other place since there are no other known originals of this dataset and all 35 official versions are deliberately incomplete.
OMG I finally finished exhibit #124 of 126 of my five year great big graphics project.
I've been working on these 68 images most of the month of December and it's been a slog and a half. Some of these images took days.
This has been a major recovery effort. It's not perfect, I've mended as much as I could without going mad in a cycle of more effort generating smaller and smaller returns.
Will proof, write up the notes, upload the files in time for a Christmas release.
The next exhibit, the penultimate exhibit, #125 of 126 will take a helluva lot of work, be a challenge and utilize all the skills and tricks I've learned creating the first 124 exhibits in order to realize.
In return, the swan song of the entire collection will be the definitive version of this dataset, including a large number of images expurgated from all 35 existing official versions.
