I finished #AlienIsolation and had a blast with it. I had been putting it off for far too long. In the end, I didn’t play it because of the Alien or the franchise. The big stars of the game are the Sevastopol space station, its atmosphere, and the sound design. As for the latter, I realized that again: Good graphics are nice, but good sound design is better. I like what they did with the 20th Century Fox production logo in #AlienIsolation. It’s washed out, with noise and lines typical of tube screens. The famous fanfare has a muffled mono sound. This is a nice detail at the start of the game and fits perfectly into the overall design of the game. — #ShareYourGames#Gaming

#AlienIsolation (2014) is one of my favourite games and it’s the first time I’m trying it on #SteamDeck
It’s incredibly efficient with 60fps and max settings still giving 3.5-4 hours battery life.
Besides being a great stealth horror game it’s a real love letter to #Alien. The brief prologue is set in a perfect recreation of the spaceship #Nostromo from the movie.
#AliensDarkDescent is getting mixed reviews but the ones I’ve read said the game improves significantly over time.
At $40 I’ll buy it because I like what I saw, and we need more Alien games.
I still haven’t forgiven #IGN and #RyanMcCaffrey for giving #AlienIsolation a 5.9(?!?) which helped doom #CreativeAssembly who made the best Alien game, and one of the best movie and stealth games ever IMO.
Taking players back to the survival horror atmosphere of the first film, #AlienIsolation features Amanda Ripley as the hero trying to survive on a wrecked space station.
This book is the ultimate gallery of the game, a must-have for any fan.
