Das ist auch deshalb witzig, weil es ähnliche Listen für Tesla gibt. Und SpaceX hat auch schon viele Ankündigungen wegignoriert. Ich glaube die Boring Company auch.

Der Mythos von Elmo Musk basiert auf seinem persönl. Kultstatus, darauf, dass er ein sehr persönliches, inspirierendes Marketing macht mit großen Ideen, die Leute & Investoren bahnbrechend & cool finden.

Kids were playing Plants vs Zombies GW2. #EA rolled out some anti-cheat shit that works only on Windows I presume. It no longer works on #Linux, I cannot explain it to my kids why their game no longer works, although we paid for it.

@WindOfChange They are the worst, each time I run Mass Effect: Legendary edition on my steam linux machine I pray they haven't broken it with the latest update ... It's been OK most of the time for the past year, but generally I try so stay away from EA titles as much as possible ...

OK, I hate to say it, as much as I love Plasma, but my first impressions of KDE Plasma 6 is quite disappointing. Do you know how supermarkets rearrange everything once in a while and you can't find shit because nothing is where it's supposed to be and you're just pissed because you see zero benefits except a giant waste of your time. That's how I feel. I spend half an hour searching for one of my favorite features ...

@gnuplusmatt 2/ The only thing I ever really regret is that they've removed the different widgets on every desktop feature in version 5. I know you can still use activities but it's just not the same ... I was just afraid they've removed another of my beloved features, but it turned out it was just a combination of messed up settings and a tiny bug which is already fixed in upcoming version. And I'm sure that once the dust settles, I'll learn to appreciate those small improvements

@gnuplusmatt 3/ under the hood they've done. Putting Wayland as a default compositor is a good step, that way some people that were hesitating can give it a try. I have been using Wayland for more than a year now and love it, even though it was a pain in the ass on Nvidia (not my main PC, but one of many, I had too many spare GPUs laying around from crypto craze of 2021), I was still using it (it worked great on my AMD gpu main PC), but even with Nvidia, once I've had a taste of it

@gnuplusmatt 4/ I couldn't go back, it was just so much snappier even on high end system ... and it looks so far that most of those annoying Nvidia bugs have been fixed in the 6, so that's great ...

@gnuplusmatt 5/ Like I said, I miss some of the widgets, but I guess it couldn't be helped once they've made a transition to Qt6 and it's now up to the individual widget's devs to catch up with that if they're willing ...
