I don't think Karlach "has golden retriever energy". She's more of a border terrier: Goofy, full of energy but gentle, and will face a badger head on in an enclosed space without a blink of an eye.
Speaking of #BG3, it is a little weird when I have watched so many interviews and stuff with the cast, because when they talk in the game I kind of see a juxtaposition of the character and the cast's faces when they talk...
My first playthrough was on Tactician and frankly I find Balanced more fun. Most fights are quicker, but not complete pushovers (except the ones meant to be).
I'm so hype for #BaldursGate3 patch 6 update this week. One of my fav things about #BG3 is that the romance doesn't end with the sex. In many games, theres nothing in the relationship after the sex scene , like that's the reward for all this hard work you've been doing. In BG3 you get to have loving and tender moments all throughout act 3 that are all about emotional closeness and not necessarily physical closeness.
I can't wait to play some more healthy and mutually supportive relationships.

Deux agonisants, une morte et Wyll mon bardlock reste seul face à une équipe trop nombreuse alors Wyll fuit, retourne au camp, va voir Fletriss... Nup : le combat n'est pas fini, il reste des gens vivants...que jes gob achèvent pas. Et comme la team est complète, pas de recrutement possible.
So I'm early in Act 3 and I'm already thinking about next playthroughs. I ended up playing this one in Explorer Mode after beating my head against a bunch of fights because I didn't know what I was doing or how to get companions I really should have picked up already, and I tend to think of it as the Orange Tabby Brain Playthrough. No thoughts, only heroism and vibes for my half-high-elf Eldritch Knight girl. #BG3#BaldursGate3
