#CatherineCortezMastro is very likely extremely slow-witted & gullible…as she’s apparently swallowing the elephant 🐘 sh*t the #maga party are shoveling.
GOP’s level of racist, belligerent, ugly #propaganda is obscene.
“If Cortez Masto is truly this concerned about supporting Biden’s judicial nominee because of a thin connection to AFJ & its advocacy for releasing elderly former #blackpanther w/COVID, then it makes no sense why she voted to…” 1/2
The Roman Inquisition in the 1500s was constantly complaining about its desperate lack of personnel (not enough Inquisitors, not enough censors to read books, not enough police) as it tried to keep up with the exponentially-growing flood of books enabled by the newfangled #PrintingPress. Why would such an organization waste hundreds of man-hours per copy on crossing out pages when they could have trivially burned the book and moved on?
"Non-violence is a very non-functional approach in a #society that's based entirely on #organized force and #violence.
A country that was created in violence, #land was taken in violence, a society that's perpetuating itself through violence in the ghettos, in #Vietnam, in #Africa.

[Black Panther Party member Kathleen Cleaver on non-violence. "Non-violence is a very non-functional approach in a society that's based entirely on organized force and violence. A country that was created in violence, land was taken in violence, a society that's perpetuating itself through violence in the ghettos, in Vietnam, in Africa. Wherever you look, there is organized force and violence at work to maintain this society. There is a world of difference between 20 million unarmed people, and 20 milion people organized and armed to the gills. That's Power." https://www.tumblr.com/nando161mando/743188782921154560?source=share](https://files.mastodon.social/media_attachments/files/111/985/306/331/109/633/original/ba4d66bcc642718c.mp4)
Today in labor History January 17, 1969: Black Panther Party members Bunchy Carter and John Huggins died in a shootout with the rival black nationalist Organization Us, during a meeting at UCLA. The rivalry and antagonism between the two groups was deliberately stoked by the FBI’s COINTELPRO, or counterintelligence program. The FBI even sent counterfeit death threats to members of both organizations, making it look like they originated with the other group.
