The Cable Guy (1996)

I haven't seen this since VHS, I believe. If I recall correctly, the film was a disappointment for many who weren't expecting a darker turn from Carrey.

@UKFilmNerd I was massively disappointed. But I was also 10 yrs old and expecting more Ace Ventura/Mask shenanigans. I loved it when I got older.

After 6 months, I've had to resubscribe to Adobe PS. I work with too many people who send me PS files and there is no alternative that can open and save them reliability. It sad how many "helper" apps Adobe installs and how often they try to connect to the internet. I block them all, but it's scary. I have to unblock them every 30 days. Please do not suggest alternatives unless you know for a fact they load and save .psd files seamlessly. Do not suggest GIMP or I block you.

@backupbear Kids who saw Phantom Menace as their first Star Wars in theaters now have disposable income. There's a lot of them and they love it just as deeply as someone seeing Star Wars for the first time in 1977. I guess we'll see how successful the rerelease is.

@TheRealEricE it's wild to me that studios keep taking the wrong message from successes and failures. Destiny 1/2 were successful in spite of its live service nature because it's Bungie. Some of the best feeling shooting in the industry. Live service is bullshit you put up with, not something to aspire to. No one is like "this avengers game is meh, but hot damn look at all this live service stuff I can play with!" Not to mention you literally have to siphon off your audience from another game.

I was a kid. I'd draw characters from the show. Recently I started watching from the very beginning with the original series, falling in love with Toriyama's work all over again. So this news hit extra hard.
He was influential to everywhere. DBZ was the first I had ever watched. It just goes to show that you should just unabashedly be yourself. Draw your goofy characters. Name them after underwear and vegetables. And have fun.
