📊Monthly App Store stats. $731 in total from my apps.

Moving up, but not every month is a new record. And that’s fine. I am enjoying the journey and I really love so far ☺️

Fresh new iOS is live, which is all about performance improvements. Curious to hear if it improves things for users with thousands of albums.

Open Source folks here — looking for a tool that will help me triage and visualize issues on GitHub by label, contributor, or even branch.

Anyone know of anything?

Apple just approved the newest version of Mlem for testing!

This is a huge update that includes:

  • Creating new posts
  • Posting comments
  • Replying (still a bit buggy because this feature was rushed)
  • Voting on posts
  • Voting on comment (really buggy, another rushed feature)
  • Saving account API keys securely, encrypted in the Keychain

Tell me if you find any bugs or problems, or have any suggestions!

Back on here after a sort of unplanned hiatus. Was shitposting on Bluesky and didn’t notice my copy of Ivory was a beta and prevented me from posting, which was kinda good timing as it allowed me to enjoy my holiday more.
But now I’m back!

jimhill,

@DavidDarnes I keep checking in on Twitter and Mastodon. I wish there was a bigger migration for the hashtags below to Masto as that’s where I get most value, but understand that the audience is larger on Twitter.

Not sure how that happens?! 🤷‍♂️

booligoosh,

@jimhill @DavidDarnes In case you didn't know already, you can follow hashtags (that's how I found this post!)

Click on then click the little follow icon at the top (it might vary depending on what app you use, but that's what I see in the web UI).

I find lots of cool content this way

Edit to add - for those of you who just want to peruse code, have a look at the first pass of the concept here: https://codepen.io/sarajw/pen/oNaRdYV

Yes, it has limitations. The blog post will address them one by one :)

Anyone interested in how I built up https://sarajoy.dev ?

Particularly the visual effect of the scrolling/sliding tabs.

I want to and open it up to questions. It will take me a while, and I feel happier having something out there sooner rather than later - but who knows if it'll help me get it done :)

I'm nervous, because I'm not sure the site as a whole is as accessible as it should be!

Here is the work in progress:

Draft updated to show how I got around the issue where the tabs could be brought up via links, but couldn't be sent back down again:

🚀So here we go. I would like validate one of my idea, never done this before, so I’m a bit scared.😬

SafeTyper - A privacy-focused, Grammarly alternative, where YOU own what you type on your keyboard.

No monthly fees - pay once, use forever. Use your own OpenAI API key.

Important: In case this idea does not reach minimum required target for validation, I will refund everyone.

Pretty exciting that at the start of the year I had never released a paid app, and soon I'll have five out in the wild!

BRAW, Gyroflow & Marker Toolbox are Objective-C. Transfer & Recall Toolbox are Swift UI. Using Apple's Workflow Extensions & FxPlug4 APIs.

Good old CommandPost is also Objective-C, but most of code is Lua. Interfaces are just HTML.

I'm having fun with my new success tracking charts that I add to @2quiet2market.

It's difficult to find out what caused the traffic spikes after such a long time, but I could still identify Dagobert Renouf's tweet on January 2 as a root cause:

Whilst I've been a bit distracted by Final Cut Pro for iPad this last week, this coming week it's full steam ahead back on Recall Toolbox! The incredible Matthew Skiles has designed our new icons for it! Aiming for TestFlight early this week, release by end of week! Stay tuned!

I've just submitted a very early work-in-progress build to TestFlight. Woohoo! Fingers and toes crossed Apple approves quickly. This is definitely not the "final" version - there's still lots of stuff to do, but getting closer! Onwards & Upwards!

Coming soon! I've built a very simple macOS app that allows you to convert Final Cut Pro (for Mac) libraries into Final Cut Pro (for iPad) projects. Eventually I have plans for it to do some other cool things too, if there’s interest.

Currently awaiting App Review. Fingers and toes crossed!

Will be 4.99 in most currencies, USD4.99 equivalent for currencies that 4.99 doesn’t make sense.
