Today I am embarking on a journey to build a company I feel good about. A company through which I can create opportunities for others no matter where in the world they are. #Solopreneur#BuildInPublic
Fresh new iOS #TestFlight is live, which is all about performance improvements. Curious to hear if it improves things for users with thousands of albums.
Back on here after a sort of unplanned hiatus. Was shitposting on Bluesky and didn’t notice my copy of Ivory was a beta and prevented me from posting, which was kinda good timing as it allowed me to enjoy my holiday more.
But now I’m back!
@DavidDarnes I keep checking in on Twitter and Mastodon. I wish there was a bigger migration for the hashtags below to Masto as that’s where I get most value, but understand that the audience is larger on Twitter.
@jimhill@DavidDarnes In case you didn't know already, you can follow hashtags (that's how I found this post!)
Click on #BuildInPublic then click the little follow icon at the top (it might vary depending on what app you use, but that's what I see in the web UI).
Today, we are releasing Mineral - A Gratitude Journal, designed to help you appreciate the positive moments in life. We've poured our hearts and souls into crafting this little gem💎 Get it here: https://getmineral.app
Particularly the visual effect of the scrolling/sliding tabs.
I want to #WriteInPublic and open it up to questions. It will take me a while, and I feel happier having something out there sooner rather than later - but who knows if it'll help me get it done :)
I'm nervous, because I'm not sure the site as a whole is as accessible as it should be!
I'm having fun with my new success tracking charts that I add to @2quiet2market.
It's difficult to find out what caused the traffic spikes after such a long time, but I could still identify Dagobert Renouf's tweet on January 2 as a root cause: #buildinpublic
I will now code the Plausible Analytics importer for @quiet2market. This will deliver exciting data about my marketing experiments that I have inside. #buildinpublic
Whilst I've been a bit distracted by Final Cut Pro for iPad this last week, this coming week it's full steam ahead back on Recall Toolbox! The incredible Matthew Skiles has designed our new icons for it! Aiming for TestFlight early this week, release by end of week! Stay tuned!
I've just submitted a very early work-in-progress build to TestFlight. Woohoo! Fingers and toes crossed Apple approves quickly. This is definitely not the "final" version - there's still lots of stuff to do, but getting closer! Onwards & Upwards!
Coming soon! I've built a very simple macOS app that allows you to convert Final Cut Pro (for Mac) libraries into Final Cut Pro (for iPad) projects. Eventually I have plans for it to do some other cool things too, if there’s interest.
Currently awaiting App Review. Fingers and toes crossed!
Will be 4.99 in most currencies, USD4.99 equivalent for currencies that 4.99 doesn’t make sense.
