Little MDMRN (turning 15 in May) has gotten into cassettes lately. My parent's got them, effectively, a Walkman with a built in speaker. They've been blasting their one cassette, Tally Hall's "Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum" for a while.
I ordered them the Celeste soundtrack on cassette. I told them about it because it was supposedly 3 weeks out.
It's already shipping. They'll get it in less than a week from when I ordered it.
@kaspurr i have a Pioneer dual cassette deck in my stereo setup. I also have a Sharp shelf system in my bedroom that I bought from Best Buy during the pandemic.
I've been producing #electronicmusic since the mid 1980s and making #cassettetape shows in my bedroom from the age of thirteen. I've been in some bands, working with a lot of folks over the years. Nearly all of my extensive back catalogue is on #Bandcamp if you wish to take a stroll through various gardens of #sound.
