Weird how the republicans fought against “death panels” that came with Obamacare (supposedly) yet the state of Texas has actually implemented death panels within the courts thanks to Paxton and the republicans #republicans#paxton#deathpanels#abortion#roe#obamacare
"#UnitedHealth Group has said its algorithm, which predicts how long patients will need rehab, is merely a guidepost. But inside the company, managers delivered a much different message: that the algorithm was to be followed precisely so payment could be cut off by the date it predicted."
It's not that #conservatives aren't sometimes right - it's that even when they're right, they're highly selective about it. Take the hoary chestnut that "#IncentivesMatter," trotted out to deny humane benefits to poor people on the grounds that "free money" makes people "workshy."

But the answer to this isn't more privatization. Remember #SarahPalin's scare-stories about how government health care would have "#DeathPanels" where unaccountable officials decided whether your life was worth saving?
Remember "#DeathPanels"? #SarahPalin promised us that #UniversalHealthcare was a prelude to a Stalinist nightmare in which unaccountable bureaucrats decided who lived or died based on a cost-benefit analysis of what it would cost to keep you alive versus how much your life was worth.
