$0 / $1000 - my family's livelihood, home and future or we lose our home, food, and our lives.
I genuinely don't know what to say other than my father thought he'd paid rent, left his card unlocked, the account we use for rent, for the last WEEK and we have... paid nothing towards the $1000 as of today.
If we don't get this by the end of this month, we lose everything. Our home, our food / water, everything. We will quite literally die off, at that point.
Anything helps. I'm terrified and honestly just fucking numb. Thank you for reading. Hope you're well.

There's a chance to get bloodwork done today if I can get $40 for gloves and masks. Cheque day is tomorrow so I can repay it as early as that! It would mean a lot, the appt I have is Jan 4.
Let me know if anyone is interested. Or just put 'repay' in your paypal message and I'll send it back tomorrow. I'll delete this if it gets fulfilled.
Indian schoolboy invents affordable smart spoon for trembling hands
A 17-year-old with a passion for robotics has produced a cheaper utensil that uses sensors to cancel out hand tremors
The motivation for his invention came to Aarrav Anil last year when he saw his uncle Arjun, who has Parkinson’s disease, struggle to eat. Some food spilled out of his mouth, the rest splattered on his clothes.
A reminder: I will be closing out the current PayPal fundraiser page on Monday night; I would like to close it out with a bang & a big finish to reach my final goal of $1,200. Right now I am $379 short of that; I can use that for minor bills, food & whatever emergencies may crop up. No obligation, but if you want to help:
I got mutual aid but the funds are on hold for 21 days. I could use help until the check finishes processing. I’m still working on the $500 debt and can’t use any of this money for it because it has to go to my unpaid bills for the month and food for the rest of the month.
Good news! Not only is my account no longer negative but I have the $15 I needed to purchase my physical drivers license! As soon as it comes in the mail (or maybe I get a temp one) I'll try driving for the first time since 2017!
On the ropes but I'm not throwing in the towel! Please donate to my paypal or gofundme, and read about what I'm going through trying to secure housing as a poor Black woman with mental illnesses. I would appreciate it
Donations at a crawl but I’m only halfway to what I desperately need, and only a quarter of the way to my overall goal. I’m begging anyone who sees this just to at least take the time to read my story and consider sharing
TODAY is the deadline to pay off my COBRA premium before my medical benefits are suspended. Still $380 short. That directly impacts my doctor's appointment for tomorrow.
Nothing has changed for the better for me. In fact, I've had to take out $600 in payday loans to cover debt, food, and dental. I can't do this alone and I have until early December at best.
Once again, thanks to everyone who boosted and donated yesterday. Thanks to you, my doctor's appointment came out OK, and I was able to get everything squared away.
I am scheduled to get paid tonight, so there should be no issues at least until the end of the month, when my July COBRA medical premium payment of $580 comes due. I have been working to find another provider that doesn't charge nearly as much, but still to no avail.
I have decided to create a new fundraiser page for June in order to see if #MutualAid generosity can be sustained.
The same target goals and needs remain: $1,200 total by the end of June for critical expenses such as my medical premium of $580, some more minor bills, and purchasing food as needed.
As always, no obligations for you to contribute, but I do appreciate those who do.
Was able to get $50 for food yesterday. Thank you!!!
Still on it for my goal of $1,200 for the end of the month for the rest of my bills & needs (food, monthly doctor's appointment next week, paperwork for student loan disability discharge for my doctor to fill out, etc.)
