To me this remains the great mystery of the Biden administration: Why does the notoriously corrupt Louis DeJoy, a Trump crony who is systematically degrading the postal service for reasons of ideology and personal profit, still hold the job of Postmaster General?
It's been driving me bonkers with fury since Spring 2021.
What we do know is that it's getting WORSE. Because first, without warning, the USPS Board stopped taking public input, and now they have reduced their remaining "public" sessions from four times a year to ONE.
So ALL usps workers (carriers, clerks, etc) in at least our district (ne mass) did not get paid this week. Confirmed it w higher ups, its something nationally snafu'd
