(1/10) At the end of the year I always publish a blog post showing my 10 favourite photos of the year. So I thought I'd share them here, one a day, to close out 2023. First we have this foggy tree scene I photographed earlier this December. My top 10 list can be seen in its entirety here:
It was pretty foggy on Saturday and I snuck out onto the local golf course before anyone else was there. I did eventually get caught and reminded I can’t be on the course if I’m not playing golf and asked to leave, but I did get a few good photos while I was there!
#FoggyFriday I am lucky to be living in a region where fog forms part of the weather. I find it inspiring. I took this photo in the autumn in the mountains on Vancouver Island.
I'm not a great early riser so I don't photograph sunrises often but since it's Saturday morning in Europe, here's one for those who are already or still awake. :)
This is from May 2020, when the sun rose over the rim of Highland Valley and illuminated ground fog in the San Dieguito River floodplain. Cheers!
