I'm watching #ToEndAllWar: #OppenheimerAndTheAtomicBomb, an #NBCUniversal #ad on #MSNBC for #Universal #studio's #movie, #Oppenheimer, directed by #ChristopherNolan, and they just showed images I've seen versions of many times before of the first #atomic blast and, in this time in our #history, they moved me in a way I haven't felt in decades.

Like Oppenheimer's famous quote, a similar, infinitely simpler, less profound, thought came to my mind: This is how we die.

It's visceral, and lingers.
