The standalone keyboard is gorgeous (and satisfyingly dense). I much prefer the clicky white switches over the tactile browns (maybe not in a laptop though).

It's a nice aesthetic match for the I just started experimenting with. Many thanks to @mntmn and the MNT team for accommodating my request for homing keys.

The Model 100 with Linear A keycaps is in the back. It's also lovely, but not convenient as a roaming keyboard.

Supériorité de sur : à la gare TGV de Grenoble, on y trouve de la bière ; à Valence, non.

(More or less) final version of my mod of the Keyboard.io Model 01 .

I’m very pleased how it turned out especially with the Linear A keycaps :blobaww:

It’s shellac so I’ll likely further improve it as time passes, but this is a very good start :blobBongo:

In the realm of ridiculous fancy keyboards I have (in order of acquisition):

They're all good keyboards, but its the Keyboardio that I think longingly about. It's the one I long to use every time I see a picture of someone's.

it's such a good keyboard for many physical & emotional reasons. BUT I derive a lot of value from having a "full" set of keys & not relying on "layers".

So I broke a bone in my arm and am now typing on a one hand configuration of my keyboard.
I love how this open source hardware can help you solve problems that come out of nowhere. I have yet to become quick with this, a good thing that backspace is mapped close.

Found the Atreus during our big office migration. It got lost behind a bookshelf. Plugged it in and woo baby twenty words per minute.

@mos_8502 That’s how this whole subthread started: I noted the space-cadet-esque “Super” key on the and @amszmidt is probably obsessively monitoring anything tagged just like you’re following

I love making introductions 😁
