Translation:
I regularly study Belter Language. My start was five years ago. [Lit. My start has five years] The language, it's not only like English. It's fun! And I bet you don't understand all that I'm saying.
Our #LangBelta learning community is fairly active. We have practice chats once a week on Discord, and we dissect the new vocab that has popped up in the more recent media. I've become less active on Reddit and I've pretty much have abandoned Twitter, but we have had our groups there. There's also one on Facebook.
I have my BA in Linguistics and it has been so interesting to dive into this conlang. There is something so very satisfying about it for me. I even journal in it! 😎
