Last one I will share today another older piece I am quite fond of.

Still having a hard time getting my head around how long its been since I finished a novella.this illustration was for a book I wrote four years ago.

Enjoyed a lovely evening ride on Weds, the weather was perfect for it. Paused for a while to draw another , which I finished shading at home. Tangle Tile No. 100 - Vicarage Lane.

Finished inked pattern on the tile being held up at the location I drew it with golden sunlight on the card
Three patterns on the card, showing progress as I draw
My bike resting against the arm of a bench in the evening sunshine

I'm back on my old shit with constructive solids and oblique perspective in Three.js... but now with shadows!

If you know me you can guess that this will involve line hiding and hatching and a pen plotted output. But maybe also some noise?

Three slim boxes at rigt angles where every face has a random, rather highly saturated color and absolutely no shadows.

Getting the lighting right was tricky, but I have this sketch where I want it for now. I like the impression of a marbled surface here. Time to build some more complex objects!
