Possible major winter storm for New England this week. (via @theeyewallwx )
"The current thinking is that the greatest odds of heavy snow are most likely from southern New Hampshire and Vermont into western Maine. Snow and/or sleet will be possible down into parts of northern Massachusetts as well, north of the Worcester area. This could be some very heavy, wet snow for parts of southern New Hampshire and southwest Maine in particular, from Keene and Concord to Lewiston. "

Stormy morning - absolutely pouring out and house-shaking wind gusts. When I got up, the wind had blown open a door. I quickly did a kitty count - phew, they're both right there! - but too late to avert the adrenaline flood. There was no going back to sleep after that. The doormat rug is sopping wet, but nothing else is. And it's not that cold, so mostly got a nice change of air and a little extra humidity. #MEwx
