Oh sweet lord of heaven. No, no, no, this is too much! I'm proof-reading a document and running it through #MicrosoftWord's grammar and spell checker and it's yelling at me saying: "inclusiveness this may imply bias against people with disabilities." It wants to change the word "mute" to "nonspeaking participants." We aren't referring to people who are mute we're talking about Zoom. #Oy
I just saw someone boost my post about the time change and I'm almost more convinced than ever that standard time is the better way and yes it hurts me to say that because I love lighter longer but I can't deny the beauty of the birdies proclaiming their vote for standard time this morning in glorious chirpity song that doth cheer my very heart and soul. So they win this round.
@JeffBishop@mmurad I agree just pick one already. The animals all laugh at us they start their day at first light regardless of our finite time conventions. And just when I got used to being 4 hours behind my #British radio stations I now have to go back to a 5 hour difference. #Oy
#PennsylvaniaCouncilOfTheBlind that's mean I was all excited thinking I could renew my membership online and then it says you can't pay chapter dues at this time online. It's not nice to toy with me like that. So I call in and have to leave voice mail with your office now. Not very efficient in the 21st century #Oy.
