My destination on this particular day was a large industrial section of town long out of use and spruced up with countless murals and colorful graffiti. Here, walking past this pile of old decaying railroad ties is my first glimpse of the outskirts, where in the distance some graffiti comes into view. 👉 a simple, but colorful playground in an otherwise unremarkable city park - I make a habit of taking a photo of all park signs I visit during my explorations ... this one stands out because there was an unhoused woman sleeping next to the sign, and I felt uncomfortable taking a picture, or waking her to ask permission ... I frequently post photos of the less attractive sights and urban decay, but our unhoused crisis here is growing, as it is most everywhere ... I just don't have the stones for that type of photography yet 😔
