Join Ume, Shiomi, and Tomo as their relationship develops. In a creepy world where “love” never dies.
Quote: I looked at the cigarette in my hand, thought, “What the hell?” and took a puff; “Ugh, unflavored.” But I’d finally gotten a kiss from my konbini girl, a secondary kiss, but a kiss.

I Faced Her Onryo Lover
I grabbed Shiomi’s arm, and she looked briefly at me with glassy eyes. Her unbrushed light blue hair fell heedlessly across her pale face, and her dress looked like she had slept in it. But that wasn’t what caused me to reach out and grab her arm. It was the woman ten meters ahead. Long black hair, flying in a wind no one but she could feel, framed a blackened and bloated face. It was the face of a corpse returned from the grave.

There were no lights on the bridge and the fog off the river was sending tendrils over the railing. All I had to do was cross the bridge and walk two blocks past the roads leading to Enpukuji. Mikawa wouldn’t bother me again, would she? That had been a warning.
These thoughts gave me no comfort. The distance seemed huge in the dark, and I didn’t place much trust in the forbearance of an apparition. I had her girlfriend at my house, after all. Taking a deep breath, I stepped onto the bridge and hurried forward.

Tomo looked peeved when I told him I had given Shiomi permission to stay with us. He squinted more than usual and cocked his head to the side as he replied, “It’s your house. But you really do have bad taste in women.”
“Just as bad with guys.” I retorted.
“If you’re dissatisfied, I can move out.”
I had been living with Tomo long enough to tell from his tone that he was only half joking. I couldn’t blame him. Shiomi looked like a load of trouble. Even I knew this wasn’t the brightest decision I had ever made.

Sometimes it's small things...
“Thank you;" Shiomi said. "it has been a long time since anyone bought me a meal and I had a pleasant time.” She was smiling, looking happier than I had seen her for a long time. The look transcended cute. She was stunning.
“You welcome,” I said, a little flustered. It seemed such a small thing and raised a new question: Had my buying her ramen been that special?

Everyone is angry
“Don’t swear at me!” The situation was wearing on my nerves, or I might have let it pass, but the swearing grated. It clashed with the image of Shiomi I kept trying to build in my mind. I was tired, my cigarette tasted foul, and I had just risked my life for the third time. And for what, an ungrateful woman who didn’t have the sense to see her lover was a rotting corpse!
“I’ll swear if I want to, White Knight-sama. I’d be with my girlfriend right now, instead of wandering around these desolate hills, if it wasn’t for you. You’re as bad as Mika, riding in on your fucking white horse and fucking my life up! I hate you! Damn it, I hate you!”

Any port in a storm
“Now, what am I going to do?” I thought.
I glanced around and saw that the other woman, or should I say ghost, was gone. So I bent down to see if I could rouse my charge. Her eyes fluttered. The feral gleam was gone, replaced by sadness. She muttered, “I need a drink.”
I didn’t think so. I could smell the sour odor of alcohol on her breath already, but anything to get her out of there before Mikawa reappeared. “Sure,” I said. “I have some beer at my place.”
It was the start of something. But it wouldn't be easy. She was my type, but the red flags were soon flashing. Did I want a girlfriend that was cursed?!
Meet Shiro, Kaori, and her jealous dead ex in this yuri light novel.
Sometimes we want to hear that is more than beauty.

From Chapter 18: Butterfly Wings
“You’re my butterfly, a black butterfly with lavender-tipped wings.” I touched the ends of her hair. “I know it’s about how you look, but…”
This time, she stopped me by putting a finger on my lips. “I understand. You think I am beautiful. I’m glad you like how I look, as long as that isn’t all.”
There are 2 at the moment. 1 is in the final stages of appearing as a serial and the other is in the early stages of plotting. Hopefully, today I will start sorting out the first chapter.
1.) My Girlfriend Almost Got Me Killed, so We Had Wild Sex
Miyazaki-san is a good girl about to discover a new world of queers, sex, D&S, and #yokai.
Miyazaki is a well-behaved 2nd-year university student whose only act of rebellion was to go to a general university instead of a business college. Until she meets Kaori, a cursed (I literally mean cursed) borderline yandere. Kaori recognizes Miyazaki as her only hope of escaping her own personal yandere, an ex-girlfriend who is now a vengeful ghost.
This is their story of falling in love, starting a relationship, and stabilizing it.
Oh yes, they also have to figure out what to do about the ghost that is trying to drag both of them off to hell.

From Chapter 4: Glass Heart
There was something behind me; I could feel it, and I could smell the cloying odor of roses. My back grew cold, and my hands turned numb, but I got the door unlocked, and it burst open. Kao-san stood there like a goddess come to earth. In one hand she thrust forward a cross and with the other shoved a Shinto charm into my hand. She stepped past me, saying, “Meiko-san, you can’t have her; she’s mine. Om Vajrapani Hayagriva Garuda Hum Phat.”
Primary Yuri / Romance
Secondary: Paranormal / horror
Josei - i.e. for adult women. If others like it that is great
Not your usual paranormal romance where one of the love interests is supernatural but romance between two women. I aim for a creepy backdrop, not a scary one, but that would depend on the reader.
(No one in their right mind would fall in love with one of my supernatural creatures.)
No good deed goes unpunished. As Ume discovers when she rescues Shiomi. Neither Shiomi nor the jealous, vengeful ghost that stalks her appreciates the act. Something they both make clear. As for Ume’s partner, Tomo, he is less than thrilled at the intrusion of an unpleasant third into their relationship. “I know I told you to find someone who would appreciate your advances, but I really question your taste.”
Come, follow Ume-san, Shiomi-san, and the increasingly exasperated Tomo as the three explore their attraction for each other in a world where creepy things wait and watch from the shadows.

From Chapter 10: When You Fall You Fly
I asked, “Did it bother you? My giving you orders?”
“No, I liked it. It’s like belonging somewhere. Maybe that makes no sense, but that’s what it feels like to me. If I belong to you, I have a place; a safe place. I meant it when I said I would do anything for you.”
The next thing I knew, she had let go of me and was kneeling at my feet. “Mistress Shiro, will you accept me as your submissive? I know I’m all messed up and weird, but I would be honored if you thought me worthy to serve you.”
By then Christina already identified as lesbian, but Robyn Elizabeth had never considered that there might be any other option than to fall in love with a man.
I updated my reading order, which you can download as a PDF. It has all the links to the ebook & audiobook versions of my novels and short stories, sorted by series.
Mikawa-san is Fukitsu’s biggest fan. A total stan that would do anything for her oshi, to get her oshi. Presents, cheki, tickets, blackmail, nothing is too much. Which presents a problem, since idol/stan relationships are strictly forbidden and can get the idol fired or worse. In this case, worse is only the beginning.
“For the Love of a Konbini Idol, I Faced Her Onryo Lover,” will be my third serialized novel.
