This "group think" to cancel entire servers for one supposed instance of X or Y deviating 1 sec from the norm is very #Cultish and it's honestly very sad.
@dans_root oh I have absolutely no issue with defederating Nazi, transphobes, racist and whatever "free speech absolutist" that think the federation should be a cesspit emulating 4chan in the name of "free speech" (we already have #Xitter for that) this here isn't "cancel culture" in the way the far-right think it is, this is plain "group think" culture that doesn't think for itself and just follow to abide to the cult think.
Heute zeigt sich: #ElonMusk Musk war nie an #Twitter interessiert, er hat einfach nur einen Grundstock an Nutzern für seine geplante Bezahl-und-ID-Plattform X.com gekauft.
Interesting: If you have a slightly slow connection, you can see the old bird logo display for about a second when you load a Twitter link, before the new X logo replaces it.
What that suggests to me is that #Twitter / #Xitter / #X have fired so many people that they literally did not know how to edit the stylesheets, so they just added a new one that over-rode the old icons.
