Einerseits scheint das eine große, etablierte Konferenz mit richtungsweisenden Firmen an Bord zu sein.

Andererseits wirkt der jüngste Bericht doch arg wie ein Sich-selbst-Abfeiern unsympathischer Konzerne.

In his Axe-con talk, @ErikGustafsson shares the time he received a marketing email for a concert. The email exhorts the recipient to "Don't miss this!"

Which is followed by images of the band name, date and location, none of which has alt text. Seems a little perverse to demand that your potential customers not miss information, and then not give them the information.

My #axecon viewing buddies. Pumpkin is holding the toy with his foot (clever boy!), and Phoebe is preening.

Same birds, but they are both looking at the camera. The lutino cockatiel still has his foot on the toy.
The grey bird is preening again, but the white bird is looking at the camera while holding the toy with his foot.
Grey bird is very fluffy, bent down to preen his tummy. White bird is still holding the toy, looking more relaxed but keeping an eye on the camera.
